Fittest Driver Terms and Conditions

The Fittest Driver Contest is sponsored by Espyr®, a leader in behavioral health care and coaching, in conjunction with Bob Perry, the Trucker Trainer™. Espyr and Bob Perry are hereto referred to as “The Promoters” in this document.

The Fittest Driver Contest is open to licensed CDL drivers ages 18 and over. Contest entrants must be residents of the United States or its territories. Employees or dependents of employees of Espyr are not eligible to participate.

There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Contestants can enter the Contest by registering on fittopass.com. Competition starts August 3 and ends September 12, 2020 at 5:00PM EST.

The first 200 registrants will receive an official Fit to Pass competition hat and Michelin® branded water bottle mailed after the end of the six-week competition (allow four weeks for delivery).

All contestants are encouraged to download a copy of The Trucker Trainer’s six-week training manual on strength training and preparation for the competition, which is available here.

The Contest is a strength competition. Prizes will be awarded to the drivers with the highest number of push-ups performed in one continuous, uninterrupted set as determined by the judges.  This is a virtual competition; the honor system is in play.  Contestants will submit video clips to thetrucker.com/pushupchallenge/ as verification of the number of push-ups performed. The judges are allowed to disqualify anyone that appears to have altered their video submission.

There are two separate divisions: one for male drivers and a separate division for female drivers. Contestants can submit as many videos as they’d like over the 6-week contest period, however the final video submitted in week 6 ( week beginning September 6 and ending September 12) will be the official entry into the contest.  The winners are determined by the total number of push-ups performed in the last video submitted in week six.  (Winners are not determined by the accumulative number of push-ups over the six week period.) Judges will only count push-ups performed in one continuous, uninterrupted set.

Prizes will be distributed to the top 5 finishers in each of the male and female divisions. The prizes are as follows:

First place – A custom made silver Fittest Driver Champion belt buckle
Second place – YETI® cooler by Michelin®
Third place – One month’s worth of CDL Meals by Fresh N’ Lean
Fourth place – ROADPRO® cooler and water bottle
Fifth place – Solar charged battery backup by Transflo®

Winners will be announced on Fittopass.com, the Fit to Pass Facebook page and TheTrucker.com no later than September 18.

Winners will be interviewed by The Trucker no later than September 25 and featured in the October 15 issue of The Trucker.
